WordPress Developer

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with a minimum of 6 months’ experience. An appropriate candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the Implementation/ Development/Customization of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and regular updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop a unique website in WordPress using themes or plugins via front-end style customization.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements,
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Designing and building unique templates from scratch with HTML, CSS & JS.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Ability to independently handle tasks and set priorities.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
